He will be responsible for overseeing the company&#8217;s growth, with a focus on presenting new financial offerings and increasing transaction volume.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before joining Sabal, Pendergist was the executive vice president &amp; head of real estate and commercial banking with Banc of California, focused on six business units. Prior to that, he was the president of consumer and commercial banking at Luther Burbank Savings, senior vice president at JPMorgan Chase and managing director &amp; head of CTL-East, where he focused on growing the business that made $2 billion in yearly originations into a platform closing nearly $14 billion.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cJason will be instrumental in fueling Sabal\u2019s rapid growth, developing and onboarding new lending programs and realizing market opportunities,\u201d<\/em> said&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/how-technology-is-changing-the-small-balance-business\/\">Pat Jackson, founder &amp; CEO of Sabal Capital Partners<\/a>, in a prepared statement. <em>\u201cAt the same time, he will help us maximize the synergies that allow us to exponentially expand the Sabal platform. His long and successful history of enabling firms to successfully achieve and manage accelerated growth is well documented and we know he will help us optimize every area of our business.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pendergist was a founding member of the American Bankers Association&#8217;s Commercial Real Estate Committee in 2015.
