In his new role, Hilger will provide sales and leasing advisory services for the firm\u2019s industrial sector, continuing to be a member of its national industrial practice group.<\/p>\n<p>Hilger has more than 17 years of commercial real estate experience, having completed more than 350 industrial deals on behalf of major corporations, REITs and private-equity groups, as well as transactions totaling more than 4 million square feet on behalf of well-established e-commerce companies.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining the company, Hilger served as director at Cushman &amp; Wakefield. Before that, he was&nbsp;real estate director for Comcast Corp. Additionally, he has a B.S. in communications from the University of Dayton and is a member of the National Association of Realtors and Suburban Realtors Alliance.&nbsp;His appointment came shortly after Avison Young Carolinas&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/avison-young-adds-new-principal\/\">hired a new&nbsp;principal<\/a> in&nbsp;Fort Lauderdale, Fla.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Brian has developed a strong track record of guiding clients through every aspect of the transaction, including site selection, due diligence, analytics, marketing, sales and leasing. His deep market knowledge and innovative strategies minimize clients&#8217; risk and provide solutions to complex real estate requirements.
