Ackerman & Co.\u2019s healthcare real estate division, Ackerman Medical, has expanded with the addition of two new professionals. Specializing in medical office investment sales, Brett Buchwald joined the company as vice president and Larry Jarema reunited with the team as senior vice president, with a focus on landlord and tenant representation in the medical office sector.<\/p>\n

Buchwald and Jarema will represent both buyers and sellers in health-care real estate transactions. Buchwald joins the firm from Marcus & Millichap, where he participated in nearly $50 million in commercial real estate deals. Bringing more than three decades of experience in corporate and health-care real estate, Jarema returned to the company where he represented landlords and tenants for nearly four years. Most recently, he served as regional leasing manager at Physicians Realty Trust.<\/p>\n

Ackerman & Co. is also active in the industrial market. Earlier this year, the company announced its intention to develop Rockdale Technology Center, a planned, 470,000-square-foot Class A facility in Conyers, Ga.<\/a><\/p>\n
