The project broke ground in May of this year and now has 21 acres of phase I in progress.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Located at the intersection of US Routes 1\/9 and Pleasant Avenue, Legacy Square will include the 186,000-square-foot Walmart Supercenter, up to six pad sites and a potential hotel, adding up to 350,000 square feet of upcoming retail space.<\/p>\n<p>The firm has already begun the on-site and environmental work for the retailer&#8217;s pad. Construction is scheduled to begin within the next six months. Once completed, Walmart will relocate its employees from the existing Linden store to Legacy Square.&nbsp;Phase II of the development is also scheduled to begin this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In April,&nbsp;Cypress Equities tapped JLL to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/jll-adds-1-3-msf-to-ca-management-portfolio\/\">manage two of its&nbsp;Los Angeles-area retail properties<\/a>.
