In February, the partnership <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/jv-buys-26m-land-for-dc-area-mixed-use-project\/\">purchased a 1.8-acre parcel<\/a> to accommodate the first phase of the project.<\/p>\n<p>Reaching 600 feet, the office tower designed by Gensler will be the tallest commercial building between Philadelphia and Charlotte, N.C. The high-rise will feature:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10-foot interior floor heights<\/li>\n<li>13-foot ceiling heights on some \u201csuper\u201d floors across the building<\/li>\n<li>abundant natural light<\/li>\n<li>publicly accessible SkyGarden<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Strategically positioned near Spring Hill Metro Station, the development provides easy access to downtown D.C., Washington Dulles International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The View will encompass six buildings, including 90,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, a cultural center with performing arts space and outdoor amphitheatre, as well as five-star hotel.
