Pathfinder Partners acquired the 48,000-square-foot, five-building vacant property back in 2015, in a partnership with Winfield Partners LLC.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership invested $7.4 million in renovations to Gold Star\u2019s historic factory at 28<sup>th<\/sup> and Walnut St., in Denver\u2019s RiNo district. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/150-ksf-denver-office-project-breaks-ground\/\">Colorado-based OZ Architecture<\/a> designed the multi-million-dollar renovation for the property by transforming the former sausage plant into an office and commercial space.\u00a0The new adaptive-reuse development features sky-lit bow-truss roof systems, 18- to 25-foot ceilings, a rugged brick fa\u00e7ade, as well as an outdoor plaza.\u00a0Some 16,500 square feet is currently leased to two tenants, Soledi U.S. and Design Wright Studios.<\/p>\n<p>Constructed in 1937, the property was originally the site of the Puritan Pie Co. Gold Star Sausage Co. acquired the asset in 1940 and continued to operate its factory at the location until 2015.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe Gold Star building exemplifies the best that RiNo has to offer in an adaptive-reuse development project. Our revival and renovation of this 1930\u2019s-era building was focused on staying true to the neighborhood\u2019s roots while creating a truly unique and marquee property for the area,\u201d<\/em> Lorne Polger, senior managing director of Pathfinder Partners, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>NAI Shames Makovsky\u2019s\u00a0Trent Rice represented the seller, while Todd Snyder worked on behalf of the buyer.
