Jackson Foundation, at SkyBridge Towers, a two-building office asset in Bethesda, Md.\u00a0Located at 6720 Rockledge Drive, the tenant signed a long-term extension to occupy 168,000 square feet, adding an additional 22,000 square feet to its previous lease.<\/p>\n<p>An affiliate of the firm,\u00a0Bridge Office Fund Manager LLC, recently purchased the property in January from Piedmont Office Realty Trust as part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/bridge-office-expands-atlanta-portfolio\/\">2.2 million-square-foot\u00a0portfolio transaction<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Cushman &amp; Wakefield&#8217;s Executive Director Ben Powell and Senior Associate Gwen Fraker represented Bridge in leasing the property.\u00a0<em>\u201cThe Henry M. Jackson Foundation decided to stay at 6720 Rockledge Drive because of the project\u2019s premier quality, attractive price point compared to new construction in downtown Bethesda, and new tenant amenity space that Bridge is adding,\u201d<\/em> said Powell in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n<h2>Renovation Plan<\/h2>\n<p>Bridge has plans to upgrade the 427,000-square-foot SkyBridge Towers to include a modernized co-working space and a 9,000-square-foot amenity center. Tenants will have access to amenities including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>lounge with coffee bar<\/li>\n<li>multiple seating options<\/li>\n<li>gaming area<\/li>\n<li>indoor\/outdoor bar and entertainment concept<\/li>\n<li>two state-of-the-art conference centers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u201cSo far, we\u2019ve been incredibly pleased with the tenant reactions to our reposition concepts,\u201d<\/em> said Tommy Spinosa of Bridge in prepared remarks. <em>\u201cThis is our first entry into the Montgomery County market, and we\u2019re excited with the momentum we are already creating.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Image courtesy of Yardi Matrix<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Henry M.
