She was then promoted to vice president in 2006, chief financial officer &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/rlj-lodging-trust-hires-new-svp\/\">senior vice president<\/a> in 2007 and executive vice president in 2013. Three years later, Hale took on the role of chief operating officer, where she was responsible for management of the company&#8217;s operating platform and all financial matters.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c<\/em><em>Over the last 13 years, we have built an incredible and talented team of individuals with an unparalleled enthusiasm to drive this company forward,&#8221;\u00a0<\/em>Hale said in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to RLJ, Hale served as vice president in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of General Electric Capital Corp.&#8217;s GE Commercial Finance and associate director in the Strategic Capital Group of GE Real Estate. Before joining GE, she held the position of investment banker at Goldman Sachs.
