The company\u2019s U.S. corporate headquarters and manufacturing campus will benefit from a $25 million investment.<\/p>\n<p>The company initially opened its doors in 1974 at its Virginia Beach headquarters, with a 20,000-square-foot rented warehouse. The current site measures more than 1 million square feet of manufacturing and office space. The former administrative building was razed to make room for the new 80,000-square-foot office, which will include a museum and customer welcome center. Other improvements include an outdoor demonstration area for training, guard house and overall security upgrades.<\/p>\n<h2>Positive impact for the region<\/h2>\n<p>A groundbreaking ceremony was held, attended by local officials, including the mayor of Virginia Beach. Hourigan Construction is the general contractor and HBA Architecture Interior Design is the lead architect.
