The Covington facility is one of Resurgens&#8217; 23 locations across the Atlanta area.<\/p>\n<p>Built in 2004, Building 1 comprises a clinical space, a physical therapy area and an MRI room, totaling 20,000 square feet. Building 2 was completed in 2016 and features a 12,785-square-foot, two-room surgery center.<\/p>\n<h2>Specialized buildouts<\/h2>\n<p>Having specialized orthopedic buildouts, the single-story buildings are 92 percent anchor-leased by\u00a0Resurgens Orthopaedics. With more than 90 physicians and nearly two dozen offices, Resurgens provides expertise in the areas of sports medicine, joint replacement, neck surgery, foot surgery, shoulder surgery, non-operative spine care, hand surgery, arthroscopic surgery, epidural steroid injection and trauma care.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cResurgens is a household name throughout the state of Georgia and we could not be more excited to complete this transaction with them,\u201d<\/em> said\u00a0Chip Conk, CEO of Montecito Medical, in a prepared statement. <em>\u201cWith the opportunity for Resurgens to continue to manage the property and for their physicians to invest back into this property and others in our growing portfolio, we believe we are creating wins for all parties.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The I-20 corridor is easily accessible from the site.
