Peter Strebel, Omni Hotels & Resorts<\/p><\/div>\n

Omni Hotels & Resorts<\/a> has promoted former chief marketing officer & senior vice president of sales Peter Strebel to president. His responsibilities will include elevating the vision of Omni while ensuring all operational areas within the company align with the long-term goals and objectives for the brand. Additionally, Strebel will work\u00a0with the company’s teams to continue to enhance the existing high-level of guest service\u00a0and overseeing the growth and expansion plans the brand has in the pipeline.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Strebel is a 30-year plus veteran of the hospitality industry, 20 years of which he spent in his leadership role at Omni. In\u00a0that role, Strebel was\u00a0in charge of\u00a0driving business development strategies to increase revenue and capture market share for the luxury hotel brand.\u00a0He also oversaw several departments, including revenue management, global sales, e-commerce, customer loyalty, the reservations call center, branding, advertising, communications, web and digital marketing and market research.\u00a0Prior to this role, Strebel was the senior vice president of operations for Omni and oversaw the development of company-wide property standards and other operational areas for the luxury hotel brand’s growing convention center collection and resort portfolios.\u00a0<\/p>\n
