In 2013, ESRT acquired the asset from Helmsley Enterprises for $170 million, according to Yardi Matrix.<\/p>\n<p>The office tower, located two blocks from Columbus Circle and Central Park, is served by eight of New York\u2019s subway lines at two stations within a five minute walk. Constructed in 1921, the tower contains 25 stories of office above 17,387 square feet of retail. ESRT began renovation work on the asset in 2016. A number of entertainment management organizations occupy the building, along with a range of other tenants including Mount Sinai Health System, COOKFOX Architects and GuildNet.
