Earlier this year, the City Council approved an economic development agreement, which claims that if the company meets the target, the city will rebate up to $1.5 million in sales taxes generated by the\u00a0firm over five years.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/bitmova-bringing-data-center-to-temple-tx\/\">economic development agreement<\/a> is another excellent example of what can get done when city departments work together. This is the direct result of various departments, such as economic development, utility services, planning and others, coming together to help bring another outstanding employer to Georgetown,\u201d <\/em>Mayor Dale Ross said in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n<h2>Public\u00a0contribution<\/h2>\n<p>The city is also improving the infrastructure in the area\u00a0by expanding Airport Road and a wastewater line along I-35\u00a0to encourage future commercial development.
