The 360-megawatt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/jv-to-deliver-650-mw-of-onshore-wind-to-sweden\/\">wind farm<\/a> will add to the 326.7 megawatts under commission by GE Renewable Energy at the neighboring Campo Largo I wind farm, also owned by ENGIE.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cTogether, these two wind farms represent our largest volume of turbines in a single cluster in Brazil,\u201d<\/em> Vikas Anand, general manager of GE\u2019s Onshore Wind Business, Americas, said in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n<p>The massive Campo Largo 1 site, currently under construction, will begin commercial operation in January 2019, and is anticipated to power up to 600,000 homes. The newly announced 360-megawatt Umburanas facility is also under construction, and the first turbines are set to be delivered in 2018. GE\u2019s 2.5-116 turbine for Umburanas will feature 295-foot-tall (90-meter-tall) towers.
