The company arranged the financing on behalf of the borrower through a commercial bank.\u00a0The\u00a0property\u00a0is slated to include\u00a0roughly 1,080 climate-controlled units. CubeSmart is set to manage the facility, which is\u00a0scheduled for completion by 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Located at 969 E. 7<sup>th<\/sup> St., the facility will occupy one acre at the intersection of Interstate 277 and Independence Boulevard. The project\u00a0will comprise approximately 90,725 rentable square feet of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/the-coming-of-age-for-self-storage\/\">self-storage space<\/a> and an additional 2,150 square feet of commercial space.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cUpon completion, this will be the largest self-storage property inside Uptown Charlotte\u2019s 277 Loop,\u201d<\/em> said Brent Bowman, senior director at HFF, in prepared remarks. <em>\u201cThe project\u2019s convenient location and accessibility will be attractive to the increasing number of renters gravitating toward Uptown.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>HFF\u2019s debt placement team working on the deal included Bowman and Senior Managing Director Travis Anderson.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Located in Uptown Charlotte, the development is slated to bring more than 90,000 square feet of rentable space.
