(SLC) has hired Marty Posthauer to serve as the firm\u2019s new president of commercial construction, following a nationwide search. In his new role in SLC\u2019s Nashville headquarters, Posthauer will oversee all construction operations and all personnel involved in each of the company\u2019s commercial development projects, including construction managers, engineers and estimators specialized in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/mega-project-makes-history-in-nashville\/\">mixed-use developments<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to his move, Posthauer worked as a senior vice president of construction with Landmark Properties in Athens, Ga. Throughout his more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Posthauer has worked for Trammell Crow, Tauer Consulting LLC, MAP Construction Services and Stasco Mechanical. His development portfolio has been varied, including a number of high-profile high rise construction projects across the country. Over the length of his career, Posthauer has managed construction of 100 projects, including 30,000 residential units valued at more than $3 billion.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to have added Marty to the SLC family during a time of increased scope and expansion for our company,\u201d<\/em> said Tim Downey, founder &amp; CEO of SLC, in a prepared statement. <em>\u201cMarty delivers a wealth of knowledge and experience to our construction and development process.
