This location will mark WeWork&#8217;s first in Munich.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The company is set to occupy four floors of the 279,000-square-foot asset, built in 1998 by Richard Meier. Hines has been working to revitalize the property since 2016. Features include a grand entrance lobby, efficient floorplans, public transportation connections and ample parking. Hines has also set a goal to achieve LEED or DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) certification for the building.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are excited to announce our first location in Munich, which marks the fourth city in Germany for WeWork,&#8221;<\/em> said Patrick Nelson, head of real estate for WeWork Europe, in prepared remarks. <em>&#8220;Munich&#8217;s tech credentials and community of start-ups, as well as established companies, make it an obvious choice for our next WeWork location. We are excited to expand in Germany, providing our 160,000+ members with access to a wider network and more business opportunities.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>NAI Apollo advised WeWork in the lease transaction.
