The development will be made in collaboration with Tectonics Construction Co.<\/p>\n<p>The building will have three stories and total 66,000 square feet including parking. An existing building will be refurbished and expanded to make room for Oak Center. The ground floor will comprise mostly retail, the second floor a mix of retail and office space, while the third floor will be entirely office space. Outdoor dining areas will be made available, along with plaza space.<\/p>\n<h2>Main street atmosphere<\/h2>\n<p>Oak Center will be situated on Oak Street, between Atlanta and South Fulton avenues, a few minutes away from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. There are several apartment communities nearby, while the North Central Avenue, about ten minutes away, provides multiple shopping and dining options for tenants of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/fuqua-to-develop-atl-mixed-use-asset\/\">Atlanta mixed-use project<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>This development is a chance to create a Main Street-style atmosphere with shops and offices and revitalize the area on the northern edge of the airport.
