The property is owned by Building and Land Technology and Tudor will occupy space in the B wing, being\u00a0expected to move in April of 2018.\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">Brian Carcaterra<\/span>\u00a0of CBRE Connecticut represented Tudor in the transaction.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The sister building to 695 East Main, the renovated and reconfigured 200 Elm formerly housed the Gen Re headquarters. BLT purchased the property in 2012 and shortly after completed a multi-million-dollar renovation to transform the vacant space into two office buildings with distinct addresses and identities.<\/p>\n<p>The asset now features a four-story atrium grand entrance, new roofs, large conference center, new bathrooms and collaborative stations. Tenants have access to amenities such as a full-service cafe, fitness center managed by Exhale Spa, control gates and card key access, electric car chargers, outdoor courtyard and manned security stations with surveillance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Tenant Growth\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p><em>&#8220;There&#8217;s a growing excitement about\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Downtown Stamford\u00a0<\/span>right now,&#8221;<\/em> said\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">Carl Kuehner III<\/span>, CEO of BLT, in prepared remarks. <em>&#8220;As the city continues its overall revitalization, the\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Stamford<\/span>\u00a0office market has also strengthened as evidenced by the robust leasing momentum at 200 Elm Street. We&#8217;re pleased to welcome Tudor to its new headquarters and we believe there is more activity to come for both the\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Stamford<\/span>\u00a0market and 200 Elm Street as the city&#8217;s transformation continues.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In addition to Tudor, BLT also inked leases with Henkel Consumer Goods Inc. for 155,000 square feet and RSM for 27,800 square feet.\u00a0200 Elm and 695 East Main are near the Stamford Transportation Center and adjacent to Interstate 95.
