The most significant increase came from Primary Metals, up by 14.6 percent compared to August 2016 and by 9.6 percent compared to July 2017. New orders increased for the remaining industries and declined only for Furniture and Related Products (1.7 percent decrease) and for Electrical Products (0.4 percent decrease).<\/p>\n<p>Compared to July 2017, new orders increased for most industries, the only exception coming from Furniture and Related Products (2.0 percent decrease).
