Miles Loo Jr.<\/p><\/div>\n

Newmark Knight Frank appointed Miles Loo Jr. as executive vice president leading the firm\u2019s Valuation & Advisory Data Center Solutions Group. Loo will base his team\u2019s operations in the firm\u2019s Los Angeles office, working on projects globally. Recently, the firm also added a new Managing Director<\/a> to the same branch.<\/p>\n

Over two decades of experience<\/h2>\n

\u201cMiles was keen to recognize the tremendous shift in how data centers have been utilized early in his career. As one of the industry\u2019s leading authorities on data centers, Miles\u2019 contribution to NKF will transcend geographic and service-line borders, and will elevate the firm\u2019s position in this incredibly important asset sector,<\/em>\u201d said NKF\u2019s President of Valuation & Advisory John Busi, in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n

Miles Loo Jr. previously served as an executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield for 22 years. His first\u00a010 years with the firm were dedicated to valuing Class A high-rise and trophy office buildings, as well as large-scale retail and entertainment centers in Los Angeles. He then specialized in data centers, recognizing early on the impact that the Internet of Things will have. His experience includes advising various firms and global IT conglomerates on investments in all types of data centers, from mission-critical and disaster recovery centers to carrier hotels and life sciences properties.<\/p>\n

\u201cNKF\u2019s global reach will allow us to build our Valuation & Advisory Data Center Solutions Group exponentially, and will provide me and my team the scope to accommodate our clients worldwide,<\/em>\u201d said Loo, in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n
