Gordon Cope<\/p><\/div>\n

Stirling Development\u00a0appointed Gordon Cope as their new financing director.<\/p>\n

Reporting to Brian Parno, the firm\u2019s COO, he will focus on budgeting, tax planning and financial review\u00a0for Stirling\u2019s business activities, including the Southern California Logistics Airport project in Victorville, Calif. and the Ocean Ranch Corporate Centre in Oceanside, Calif. He will also analyze and evaluate new potential projects.<\/p>\n

Previously, Cope served as a tax manager with Haskell & White LLP. He also held positions with international public accounting firm KPMG LLP and Goldman Sachs Inc. Being a Certified Public Accountant, Cope graduated from the University of Utah earning both a bachelor\u2019s degree and an M.A. in accounting.<\/p>\n

\u201cStirling has a long history and stellar reputation for developing some of the region\u2019s most recognized master-planned real estate projects,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0said Cope.\u00a0\u201cThe opportunity to work with and learn from its leadership who made those projects successful was very attractive to me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
