The store has 577 units and just over 85,000 total rentable square feet. In addition to offering self storage, the facility hosts several businesses that serve the Old Ballard area near the waterfront. This is the company\u2019s first acquisition in the market, but Simply Self Storage\u2019s intends to expand its West Coast portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/jll-arranges-sale-secures-financing-for-houston-self-storage-asset\/\">self storage facility<\/a> is located north of Salmon Bay, on the northwest side of Seattle. The property\u00a0includes the Portage Bay Cafe, just across from Marine Lenders Service and the Republic Parking 30-241 Jacobson Terminals Lot. Amenities include security cameras, keypad entry, indoor and outdoor lighting, drive-up unit access, climate controlled units, carts, dollies and packing supplies. Both short- and long-term leases are available.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOur Market Street Seattle location marks the first footprint in the beginning of our expansion to the West Coast. We are excited about offering world-class service to the residents and businesses of Seattle and we look forward to other openings in Washington and other locations along the Pacific,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0said Simply Self Storage CEO Kurt O\u2019Brien, in a prepared statement.
