The biggest increase came from Primary Metals\u2014 up by 11.5 percent compared to the previous year, followed by the 9.7 percent increase for Fabricated Metal Products. New orders decreased on a year-over-year basis only for Electrical Equipment, Appliances and Components (-3.4%) and for Transportation Equipment (-1.1%).<\/p>\n<p>New orders for all manufacturing industries decreased by 13.2 percent compared to June 2017.
