Originally built in 1930, the property was renovated in 2010. Notable tenants include Kohl&#8217;s, Renfro Corp., Verifone Media and Burlington Coat Factory.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Newmark Knight Frank&#8217;s\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">John Shaunfield<\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">Seth Weinstein<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">Paul Ippolito represented Fragomen in the lease, while\u00a0Scott Klau,\u00a0Erik Harris\u00a0and\u00a0Neil Rubin, in addition to ESRT&#8217;s Keith Cody, represented the landlord.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Fragomen joins a roster of high quality tenants at 1400 Broadway,&#8221;<\/em> said\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">Thomas Durels<\/span>, executive vice president &amp;\u00a0director of leasing and operations for ESRT, in prepared remarks.\u00a0<em>&#8220;Fragomen was attracted to the desirable Times Square South neighborhood and the property&#8217;s 21<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0Century modernization combined with its unique building characteristics.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year,\u00a0Empire State also\u00a0inked a lease with Gap Inc., for 80,900 square feet at 111 W. 33rd\u00a0St. in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/empire-state-realty-lands-new-tenant-at-nyc-hq\/\">Manhattan\u2019s Chelsea neighborhood<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>Image courtesy of Yardi Matrix<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The company secured international law firm Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen &amp; Loewy to lease floors eight through 10 at the iconic 37-story high-rise.
