The Shops at Clearfork Opens in DFW Metroplex<\/p><\/div>\n

Simon Property Group and Cassco Development Co. have opened Phase II of The Shops at Clearfork, a 500,000-square-foot, open-air luxury retail and office center<\/a> in southwest Fort Worth.<\/p>\n

Anchored by a 90,000-square-foot Neiman Marcus store that opened in February, The Shops at Clearfork recently saw the opening of such luxury, home furnishing and specialty retailers as Louis Vuitton, Tory Burch, Tiffany & Co., Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Z Gallerie, Arhaus, Mizzen+Main, Tesla and NuVitrum. Scheduled to open by the end of the year are Kendra Scott, Clean Juice Bar, Stanley Eisenman Shoes, Burberry and Elaine Turner, among others.<\/p>\n

From this week through 2018, the property will be bolstered by a mix of new regional and national restaurants, including rise no 3, B&B Butchers & Restaurant, City Works Eatery & Pour House, Cr\u00fa Food and Wine Bar, Doc B’s Fresh Kitchen, Fixe, Luna Grill, Malai Kitchen, Mesero, Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar. AMC Theatres and Pinstripes will open in 2018.<\/p>\n

The site, at Edwards Ranch Road and Clearfork Main Street, is accessible from the new Chisholm Trail Parkway, I-20, I-30, Hulen Street and Bryant Irvin Road.<\/p>\n

The project also features The Offices at Clearfork, two mixed-use buildings, each with three stories of Class A office space above ground-floor retail. WeWork is expected to open its first Fort Worth location there before the end of the year, and other current or pending tenants include CH4 Energy, CERIS, Merrill Lynch, Mustang Energy, The Miles Foundation and Frost Bank.<\/p>\n

A dollar amount for the development was not disclosed. As of press time, Simon had not replied to Commercial Property Executive<\/em>\u2019s request for additional information.<\/p>\n

Cassco is the development arm of the Edwards family, whose 7,000-acre ranch, founded in 1848, eventually became a substantial part of current-day Fort Worth.<\/p>\n

A key part of a much larger development<\/h2>\n

The retail project encompasses 27 acres within the 270-acre Clearfork master-planned mixed-use development. Upon completion, Clearfork will total 2 million square feet of office space, 1.2 million square feet of retail and 2,500 multifamily residential units, as well as miles of riverfront access to the Clear Fork of the Trinity River.<\/p>\n

The architect was Nelson Partners, of Fort Worth; construction management was by The Beck Group; the landscape architect was Studio Outside; and the structural engineer was Peloton Land Solutions.<\/p>\n
