It was originally constructed in 2016.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis lease brings the building to 100 percent occupancy in 10 months leasing time,\u201d <\/em>Lisa<em>\u00a0<\/em>Pittman, Cushman &amp; Wakefield\u2019s Atlanta office director and leader of the logistics &amp; industrial services group, told <em>Commercial Property Executive. \u201cMedline outfitted the space with lights, dock equipment and some spec office. The building showed very well.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cushman &amp; Wakefield facilitated the deal on behalf of the landlord with its team of Ray Stache, Lisa Pittman and Greg Dickerson.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Strong\u00a0Market<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The city of McDonough is quickly becoming one of Atlanta\u2019s hottest industrial submarkets, with several major leases occurring there in 2017. Its convenient access to the Port of Savannah via Interstate 75 and the Florida market makes it that much more attractive to businesses.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMcDonough is a magnet for large industrial users,\u201d <\/em>Pittman said.<em> \u201cIts proximity to the port, Florida\u2019s population as well as Metro Atlanta give it a logistic and transportation advantage.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The metro-Atlanta industrial market is increasing, with many companies expanding in the state.
