The Ardent Cos. has selected Cushman & Wakefield to manage The Fountains, a\u00a0four-building office campus in Uptown Atlanta. The 550,166-square-foot Class A complex is situated within Piedmont Center, a 52-acre business park in Atlanta’s Buckhead submarket.<\/p>\n

Laurie Harper, director of asset services at C&W, will spearhead the team in charge of the campus’ management. “This is the first property we are managing on Ardent\u2019s behalf, and by focusing on a seamless transitional period, I am confident we will partner with them on many properties to come,”<\/em>\u00a0said Harper in prepared remarks.<\/p>\n

Undergoing renovations<\/h2>\n

The Fountains’ four buildings are undergoing renovations, the list of upgrades including upgraded fitness and conference centers, a bike rental service, additional seating and shading in the courtyard, updated signage and wayfinding, as well as lobby improvements.<\/p>\n

Cushman & Wakefield is also responsible for the management of Piedmont Center buildings 1-4 and 15, owned by The Ardent Cos. The five-building portfolio\u2014owned by Northwestern Mutual Real Estate Investors until recently\u2014totals 823,566 square feet and has been under C&W management since 2012.<\/p>\n

Cushman & Wakefield has also recently landed management and leasing responsibilities for 271 17th<\/sup>\u00a0St., a trophy office tower located in\u00a0Midtown Atlanta<\/a>.<\/p>\n
