MRP Realty completed the renovation and repositioning of two Class A office buildings in Washington, D.C. The company sold the assets in December 2015 to TA Associates Realty, shortly after purchasing them, but not before taking the property through the Historic Preservation Review Board and retaining property management through the sale.<\/p>\n

The firm teamed up with architect Gensler Washington and contractor Davis Construction and partially reskinned the property’s southern fa\u00e7ade. The complex currently features a spacious and reimagined lobby and a glass front.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe acquired this building, in large part, because we recognized its unique features<\/a>,<\/em>\u201d MRP Realty Senior Vice President Jackson Prentice said in a prepared statement. \u201cThrough the renovation and repositioning process, we have sought to emphasize the details through prominent lighting and enhancing interesting views, utilizing them to produce creative office spaces for our tenants.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

Prestigious tenants<\/h2>\n

Built in 1912 and 1982, respectively, 1333 H St. totals 270,000 square feet and includes 2,300 square feet of retail space. It is 95 percent occupied by tenants such as the Center for American Progress, the Institute of International Finance Inc. and Reuters, to name a few. Additionally, it is located in the vicinity of the CityCenter, McPherson Square Metro and Metro Center, offering direct access and proximity to the area\u2019s amenities.<\/p>\n
