The 1.1 million-square-foot facility will be located at the Savannah River International Trade Park.<\/p>\n<p>Safavieh will invest $60 million to build the property.\u00a0Slated for completion in quarter four of 2018, the property is expected to create 200 jobs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>It Takes a Team\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>Senior Director of Cushman &amp; Wakefield&#8217;s eCommerce Fulfillment Practice Group Bob Robers represented Safavieh in acquiring the land and developing the site. Cushman &amp; Wakefield&#8217;s Bradley Migdal and Carol Henderson secured economic incentives for the development.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/czech-company-to-build-first-plant-in-the-us\/\">Georgia Department of Economic Development<\/a> Director of Logistics, Energy, Agribusiness and Food Brittany Holtzclaw represented the Global Commerce division in collaboration with the Savannah Economic Development Authority and Georgia Power.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSavannah is strategically located to facilitate throughput of Safavieh\u2019s imported goods and fulfillment needs,\u201d<\/em> said Robers, in prepared remarks. <em>\u201cSafavieh already operates more than 500,000 square feet of warehousing in Savannah, and this investment will more than triple their presence.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Image courtesy of Cushman &amp;
