Matthew Tice and Assistant Vice President Associate Counsel of The Inland Real Estate Group Brett Smith facilitated the transaction.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>MOB Features\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>The Houston Hospital for Specialized Surgery at 5445 La Branch St., features 34,600 square feet of space comprising seven surgical beds, three operating rooms and supportive pre-operation and post-operation areas. The hospital is two miles southwest of Houston&#8217;s central business district.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The USPS Surgical Institute at 8111 Southwest Freeway was renovated in 2014 and is located eight miles west of downtown Houston. Comprising 37,000 square feet, the building serves as an ambulatory surgery center, offering a range of interventional\u00a0pain procedures, including minimally invasive spine procedures.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThese recently renovated, state-of-the-art medical office buildings provide the more than 820,000 residents within a five-mile radius of both properties with convenient access to medical care,\u201d<\/em> said Tice, in prepared remarks<em>. \u201cThe well-established tenants and ideal location make them a prime example of the type of acquisitions we continue to seek out in this asset class.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Image courtesy of Google Street View<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The company purchased two US Pain &amp;
