The club will open its\u00a0doors in August.<\/p>\n<p>Located at 227 4th Ave., the Lyceum originally served as NYC Public Bath No. 7 and was in need of a major restoration when Blink signed the lease. Preservation of the 100-year-old building included exposed brick, large arched windows and industrial steel trusses that support the 22-foot high ceilings.<\/p>\n<h2>Blink Benefits<\/h2>\n<p>As a part of its grand opening, Blink Fitness will donate 50 one-year memberships worth over $10,000 to Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow, a disadvantaged youth and adults organization.<\/p>\n<p>The new facility will offer top-of-the-line strength equipment that includes as well as a wide variety of premium cardio machines and a multi-use space for additional exercises, stretching and functional training.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is a show stopping, flagship location for Blink that we&#8217;re sure will become a healthy hub of activity in the neighborhood,&#8221; said Kenyon Clemons, club manager, in prepared remarks.
