Streetplus Co. has been awarded property management assignment for three San Francisco Community Benefit Districts. All three downtown CBDs were previously managed by MJM Management Group, which will serve as a local advisor to StreetPlus over the next two years and will continue to provide strategic consulting services on design, programming and effective management of public spaces<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Improving the Community<\/h2>\n

The CBDs for which Streetplus will manage day-to-day operations are Yerba Buena Community Benefit District, Central Market Community Benefit District and Civic Center Community Benefit District.<\/p>\n

Through a partnership with the city and local communities, CBDs strive to improve the overall quality of life and economic vitality of commercial and mixed-use neighborhood. Community Benefit Districts provide services such as cleaning, safety, maintenance, business marketing, streetscape improvements, advocacy and other services to supplement the basic level of the city services.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a win-win for each community benefit district as the collaboration will provide a forward thinking comprehensive vision of the areas, while the day-to-day operations continue to be skillfully handled to ensure services are provided in the most efficient and effective manner possible<\/em>,\u201d said Steve Hillard, president of Streetplus, in prepared remarks.<\/p>\n

The company\u00a0has provided services to district improvements since 1991.<\/p>\n
