The hotel is set to open its doors in downtown Durham, N.C., following a multi-million-dollar redesign and restoration process. Developer Austin Lawrence Partners worked with Dream Hotel Group on this project.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Located at 202 N. Corcoran St., Unscripted Durham will open in an old city\u00a0landmark, the Jack Tar Motel building. The Jack Tar was built in 1962 by Homeland Investment Co. The asset is in the heart of downtown, within walking distance from the American Tobacco Campus and the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.<\/p>\n<h2>Reimagined mid-century icon\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/dream-hotel-coming-to-downtown-nashville\/\">boutique hotel<\/a> will feature 74 guest rooms and suites as well as five food and beverage venues. Maintaining most of its original architecture and design elements, Unscripted Durham will also include a rooftop pool deck and lounge on the third floor and three restaurants at street level. A retro-inspired poolside lounge will offer views of the Durham skyline. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>We are thrilled to debut the Unscripted brand in a city with a culture as rich and diverse as Durham, N.C. Unscripted Durham offers more than a place to stay.
