Sonia Mir\u00f3<\/p><\/div>\n

Kearny Real Estate has appointed Sonia Mir\u00f3 as director of property management in the firm\u2019s San Diego office. In her new role, Mir\u00f3 will oversee the firm\u2019s growing local portfolio, leading the property management efforts for both of Kearny\u2019s San Diego assets, as well as for its additional third-party assignments.<\/p>\n

Three-decade career<\/h2>\n

Mir\u00f3 brings more than three decades of experience managing office and industrial properties. Prior to joining Kearny, Mir\u00f3 was regional director of West Coast property management for BioMed Realty. During her career, Mir\u00f3 has been responsible for the leasing oversight and financial performance of approximately 20 million square feet of commercial real estate assets in the San Diego area, including Emerald Plaza, which was acquired by Kearny in December 2016.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kearny also announced that John DeSantis and Teresa Souris have joined the firm\u2019s San Diego team. As an associate, DeSantis will be responsible for analytical and financial modeling support for current assets and future acquisitions. Additionally, he will support asset and property management efforts at Emerald Plaza, Otay Crossings and Kearny\u2019s other third-party management assignments. He joins Kearny from Phase 3 Real Estate Partners. Souris joins Kearny as property administrator to focus on the firm\u2019s Emerald Plaza and Mission Center<\/a> projects. Previously, she held a similar role with Lincoln Property Co.<\/p>\n
