Alex O’Connor, L&L Holding Co.<\/p><\/div>\n

After hiring David Horowitz<\/a> as its latest senior vice president, L&L Holding Co. recruited Alex O\u2019Connor as its newest acquisition associate, effective June 19. In his new role, O’Connor\u00a0will be in charge of the firm\u2019s new investments\u2019 valuation, strategy and execution, with a focus on acquisition underwriting and due diligence, financial modeling and deal structuring. O\u2019Connor will report directly to Senior Managing Director of Acquisitions Yong Cho.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are pleased to welcome Alex at a time when we are exploring a number of potential investment and development opportunities,<\/em>\u201d L&L Chairman & CEO David Levinson said in a prepared statement. \u201cIt will be particularly valuable to have Alex on board as we expand our team and continue our pursuit of the next great New York City office development and mixed-use projects.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Acquisition expertise<\/h2>\n

O\u2019Connor joined the firm after more than two years at alternative asset management firm AR Global, where he oversaw the acquisition, disposition and strategic initiative of a $4 billion mixed-use portfolio in New York City. Between 2012 and 2014, he was part of a 10-member CBRE team that closed on more than $6 billion in transactions. O’Connor started his career as an acquisitions analyst at United Equity Investments and he is part of the Urban Land Institute, NYPEN and the iMentor mentorship program for students in low-income communities.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Connor is a Florida State University graduate and holds two bachelor degrees in Finance and Real Estate.<\/p>\n
