Alex Bergeson, NKF<\/p><\/div>\n

Newmark Knight Frank has appointed Alex Bergeson to the role of managing director, joining Vice Chairman Brad Feld in the greater Los Angeles area. Bergeson specializes in landlord agency office leasing, tenant representation and investment sales<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Track record\u00a0<\/h2>\n

Bergeson joins from CBRE, where he began his career in 2012 as a research and valuation analyst before transitioning into a brokerage role. During his tenure, he managed a 1.5-million-square-foot office landlord agency portfolio on behalf of institutional ownerships including Intercontinental Real Estate Corp., The Swig Co. and the Samuel Goldwyn Foundation. Bergeson executed more than 120 lease transactions totaling more than $80 million. Bergeson also sourced and executed approximately $170 million of commercial investment property sales. Most notably, he handled a $49 million medical office disposition on behalf of Guardian Life and a $21 million Beverly Hills land disposition on behalf of a local high-net-worth private family.<\/p>\n

“He has excelled during the course of his career demonstrating a strong understanding of the Westside, Lower Westside, Miracle Mile, Hollywood and Burbank markets and the intricacies of lease and investment sale negotiations,”<\/em> said Feld in prepared remarks.<\/p>\n

Bergeson holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Pepperdine University. He is an active member of the Los Angeles Commercial Realty Association and the Pepperdine University Alumni Association.<\/p>\n
