The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/makeover-rebranding-planned-for-boston-area-constitution-center\/\">modernization process<\/a> began in late 2015 when the asset changed hands and the new owner, Lincoln Property Co., selected Foundry Commercial as leasing manager.<\/p>\n<p>The property underwent extensive upgrades including an updated main lobby, common corridors enhanced with bright modern finishes, refreshed restrooms and a new &#8220;Tenant Hub&#8221; designed with an open plan that adds both formal and informal meeting space. The Hub is free for all 121 West Trade tenants and features multiple conference rooms, a tenant lounge and a 50-person training room.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Corridor improvements, changes to retail and other renovations are scheduled to take place in the upcoming months. Additional building amenities include the Charlotte City Club, a membership-only dining and social venue, The Sandwich Club restaurant and The CUT Barbershop.<\/p>\n<p>Completed in 1990, the 32-story asset sits on a 0.42-acre site at 121 W. Trade St. within walking distance of numerous restaurants. Other nearby amenities include the Time Warner Cable Arena, Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Booth Playhouse and Spirit Square. The location offers visibility of Downtown Charlotte and is close to bus and train stations.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The 121 Tenant Hub provides an open, sleek and flexible way for our current tenants to work and interact, and makes this centralized location even more appealing to prospective tenants,&#8221;<\/em> said Karah Stumler, office leasing associate at Foundry Commercial, in prepared remarks. <em>&#8220;The renovations made to the building not only provide added value to all of its tenants, but now our own employees have more flexible ways to work and collaborate thanks to this enhanced work environment.
