The store would also include 1,100 parking spaces.<\/p>\n<p>IKEA plans to look into on-site power generation for the store, to complement its current U.S. renewable energy presence at nearly 90 percent of its U.S. locations. The company\u2019s U.S. sustainable efforts already include recycling waste material; key measures in buildings with energy-efficient HVAC and lighting systems, recycled construction materials, warehouse skylights, and water-conserving restrooms. It\u2019s also installed electric vehicle charging stations at 27 locations and solar arrays at 90 percent of its locations, and owns two U.S. wind farms.<\/p>\n<p>The company is hoping to start construction in the spring of 2019, with an anticipated opening in mid-2020.
