In this senior leadership position, Konkel will oversee more than 320 associates in 20 offices, assuming\u00a0responsibility for driving commercial sales and revenue growth. Prior to his new role, he served as interim executive vice president of commercial services, following predecessor Bruce Hawley\u2019s retirement.<\/p>\n<p>During more than 25 years at Stewart, Konkel\u2019s regional, national and international clients closed deals in excess of $20 billion in all asset classes. For 15 years, Stewart\u2019s new executive vice president worked as national sales director for the company\u2019s commercial services. Konkel frequently coaches real estate professionals on sales and motivational techniques. He is a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/recon-speakers-tackle-retails-tough-issues\/\">International Council of Shopping Centers<\/a>, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association as well as the Pension Real Estate Association. He also serves on the board of directors and advisory council for Mercy Housing.<\/p>\n<p>Konkel\u00a0is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado.
