Washington Blvd., the three-story structure includes 48,000 square feet of rental space.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;This newly constructed self storage facility is easily accessible via well-trafficked thoroughfares in <span class=\"xn-location\">Sarasota<\/span>, including U.S. Route 301,&#8221;<\/em> said <span class=\"xn-person\">Michael Schwartz<\/span>, chairman &amp; CEO of Strategic Storage, in prepared remarks. <em>&#8220;This modern facility is 100 percent climate controlled and an attractive addition to our growing portfolio of operating properties, which now includes more than 12,400 self storage units in eight states.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The SSGT portfolio currently consists of 19 operating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/strategic-storage-buys-900-unit-facility\/\">self-storage facilities<\/a>, located in eight states, comprising 12,400 units and 1.4 million net rentable square feet.\u00a0The REIT is also developing two properties\u00a0in the <span class=\"xn-location\">Greater Toronto Area<\/span>\u00a0that will comprise 1,700 self-storage units and one in <span class=\"xn-location\">Asheville, N.C. that will comprise<\/span>\u00a0650.<\/p>\n<p><em>Image courtesy of Extra Space Storage<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The three-story structure includes 48,000 square feet of rental space.
