The company is developing the Northern Virginia industrial park to serve the increasing demand for distribution space in the county.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The six-building, 596,000-square-foot industrial park is located at 11900 Balls Ford Road in Prince William County, 28 miles from Washington, D.C. The first two buildings, which will total 234,500 square feet, are slotted for completion by quarter four of 2017.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWith the park\u2019s location, size and design, the buildings at Merritt\u2019s I-66 Business Park are ideal for a variety of industry sectors including life sciences, defense\/federal agencies, advanced logistics and advanced manufacturing,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>said Michael Larkin, team leader of Merritt\u2019s Virginia office, in prepared remarks.<\/p>\n<p>This property marks Merritt&#8217;s sixth development in Virginia, and the first in Prince William County. The industrial park is modeled after Beaumeade Corporate Park, a six-building flex\/industrial campus\u00a0totaling 472,913 square feet on Guilford Drive in Ashburn, Va.
