Booz Allen Hamilton\u2019s 75,000-square-foot facility in Charleston, S.C., will support clients such as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Navy. At its newly expanded Charleston Digital Hub, the firm expects to expand from 310 to 400 employees by the end of 2017. Hiring for the new positions is already underway.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWithin Digital Solutions, we are integrating emerging technologies, a deep understanding of our clients\u2019 missions and more than 100 years of consulting heritage to drive technology modernization and support user adoption. The SPARC acquisition advances our digital growth strategy by expanding the scale of our services to support our clients\u2019 demand for transformative technology,\u201d <\/em>said Booz Allen Hamilton Executive Vice President &amp; Leader of Digital Solutions Gary Labovich, in prepared remarks.<\/p>\n<p>Booz Allen\u2019s Digital Solutions work includes the creation of an optimized website with an automated online assistant for the Department of Defense Federal Voting Assistance Program that helps approximately 150,000 military members deployed to more than 150 countries worldwide to vote in federal elections.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe facility will represent an R&amp;D space that will allow us to build, test and refine enterprise software solutions alongside our clients,\u201d<\/em> said Booz Allen Hamilton Charleston Vice President Elizabeth Buske.<\/p>\n<p>Agracil Inc. and Frampton Construction provided development and general contractor services, and McMillan Pazdan Smith served as the primary architect of the new space.
