The US division of the largest and oldest South American bank will use the new space as its corporate headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>The leasing advisory team led by JLL\u2019s Executive Vice President Gavin Macphail and Senior Associate Randy Carballo represented the tenant in the negotiations. Banco do Brasil Americas has leased the entire 22<sup>nd<\/sup> floor and is relocating from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/cushman-wakefield-lands-18m-lease-at-one-biscayne-tower\/\">One Biscayne Tower<\/a> in downtown Miami.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe worked to negotiate a competitive deal on behalf of the banking institution to ensure the office space met its long-term business needs,\u201d<\/em> said Carballo in prepared remarks.<\/p>\n<p>The 408,423-square-foot office building, known for its all-glass tiered sides, offers amenities such as technology-enhanced conference facility, reception area, full service bank, ATM, dry cleaner, a pre-school for working parents, as well as access to several eateries including Vapiano and Jimmy John\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Banco de Brasil was established in the U.S. in 2012 and has locations in South and Central Florida. It joins a roster of tenants such as law firm Lydecker Diaz, Regus, Banco Popular and Clyde &amp; Co.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cRelocating our headquarters to 1221 Brickell Ave. was a strategic decision for us.
