The firm\u2019s Executive Vice President Carl Christie and Assistant Vice President Dan McGee represented the seller, Fisher VFW LLC, and procured the buyer.<\/p>\n<p>Located at 1455-1457 Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Parkway, the four-building Suffolk County asset was constructed in stages, between the 1940s and 1970s. The retail property is occupied by Party City and Lumber Liquidators, being the latter brand\u2019s first location.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe seller was a long-term owner that was moving on from the property while the new buyer plans to partially occupy space in the plaza,\u201d<\/em> said McGee, in prepared remarks. <em>\u201cThere were numerous groups interested in this site, including owner-users and developers. Out of the multiple offers we received, we were able to find the best fit for the seller in terms of both price and conditions.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The buildings, which are located on the shore of the Charles River, right across the county line from Norfolk County, offer direct frontage along the VFW Parkway. The asset is close to both retail and dense residential areas.
