Mark McGowan, Skanska USA<\/p><\/div>\n

Skanska USA Commercial Development recently expanded the roles of a number of employees, as part of its national growth plan. Mark McGowan will serve as the company\u2019s new vice president of real estate development. He will oversee project executions and acquisitions from the company’s Boston office. Judy Mahoney will serve as director of project accounting for building construction operations in Boston and Connecticut. Her responsibilities will include financial reporting for Skanska\u2019s construction projects.<\/p>\n

McGowan has been with the company since 2010, previously serving as its director of development and development manager. He played a key role in the lease-up and acquisition of 150 Second St. in Cambridge, a LEED Platinum certified property. He is also overseeing the development of 1350 Boylston St. and Two Drydock. Prior to that, he worked as project manager for New Boston Fund and as senior project manager with the Boston Redevelopment Authority. He is a Fordham University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology graduate, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP, A Better City, a LEED accredited professional and a graduate of the FBI\u2019s Citizen\u2019s Academy.<\/p>\n

Judy Mahoney, Skanska USA<\/p><\/div>\n

Judy Mahoney is a Skanska veteran, joining the firm 30 years ago and previously serving as a senior project accountant. She oversaw the accounting part for the expansion of the Novartis Cambridge Campus, construction and renovation of the Harvard Law School building, Terminal E at Logan International Airport and Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge. She currently serves as notary public for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mahoney graduated Boston Business School.\u00a0Skanska<\/a>\u00a0hired new executives last year, and the expansion process is ongoing.<\/p>\n
