The building serves as the headquarters of\u00a0MiMidex Group, a biomedical device firm and a leading integrated developer, processor and marketer of regenerative biomaterial products and bioimplants.<\/p>\n<p>MiMidex Group has occupied the building since 2013, and has signed on for four additional years, committing to the location until 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Doug Eidson, principal with Avison Young and Greg Baxendale, executive vice president with JLL, represented the tenant in the lease renewal and extension.<\/p>\n<p>The property was completed in 1997, and underwent cosmetic renovations in 2013, according to Yardi Matrix data.<\/p>\n<p>Also in Atlanta, Avison Young was recently\u00a0retained to lease and manage an office campus, after representing the buyer in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/atlanta-area-office-campus-changes-hands-for-57m\/\">$57 million acquisition<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Image courtesy of Yardi Matrix<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 79,000-square-foot office building in Marietta, Ga., has served as MiMidex Group&#8217;s headquarters since 2013.
