Michael Hines<\/p><\/div>\n

CBRE announced that Michael Hines has\u00a0been promoted to vice chairman with the capital markets and institutional properties team. This marks the first time a\u00a0sales professional from the Greater Pennsylvania region achieved this title, the highest within the company for producers.<\/p>\n

In the first quarter of this year alone, Hines and his team sold nine properties totaling more than 5.84\u00a0million square feet. The transactions added up to $358 million in total consideration.<\/p>\n

Hines, who has been the region’s top producer in investment sales five times in the last seven years, joined CBRE\u00a0in 2004\u00a0as executive vice president with the capital markets team, a position he held for more than a decade. With more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Hines is specialized in the sale of industrial properties for institutional clients, lenders and real estate developers. He also provides advisory services for corporate real estate clients. Prior to working for CBRE, Hines\u00a0served as senior director at Cushman & Wakefield. He received a bachelor of science degree in real estate and urban land from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.<\/p>\n

“In addition to his consistently outstanding financial performance, Mike has been a role model and mentor to many of his peers,”<\/em> said Robert Walters, executive managing director at CBRE, in prepared statements.<\/p>\n
