Whit MacCuaig<\/p><\/div>\n

Baltimore<\/strong>\u2014Chesapeake Real Estate Group LLC announced that Whit MacCuaig, who has worked as development manager for the company since 2014, has been promoted to senior vice president, development and finance.<\/p>\n

As senior vice president, MacCuaig will oversee the company\u2019s day-to-day development activities, including executing strategies for new buildings, the redevelopment of existing properties, managing tenant build-out programs, interacting with contractor companies and working as a liaison with local government.<\/p>\n

MacCuaig is\u00a0a certified public accountant in the State of Maryland. He holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Baltimore and an MBA\u00a0degree from Loyola College of Maryland.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith diversified experience in multiple disciplines, Whit is able to comfortably function in two critical roles for our company,\u201d Jim Lighthizer, founder & managing partner, said in a prepared statement. \u201cOur ability to depend on the in-house resources provided by Whit with finance and development counsel provides significant advantages to our company.\u201d<\/p>\n

CREG currently has 2.2 million square feet of industrial projects in some phase of development and 3.2 million square feet of industrial, office and retail under management in the Mid-Atlantic region.<\/p>\n
