The development\u00a0will reactivate more than 2 million square feet of industrial space as an innovation distric on the\u00a0grounds of a former shipyard, located just 5\u00a0miles from Manhattan. The goal of Kearny Works is to accommodate small businesses and\u00a0entrepreneurs, an underserved market in the region\u2019s office sector.
